I’m just Some Guy, starting a blog in the midst of #Quarantine2020. This site was born mostly out of boredom, like so many things in the next 6 to 9 months. I’ve thought about doing this for a long time but never really had the time. But since almost no one can use that excuse right now, here we are.
This will mostly be a personal blog about my many interests, activities and occasional thoughts/ramblings. I figure this would be a good way to keep me motivated and to show my progress. And if followers become a thing then they can prod me into action if there’s some project that they have an interest in seeing completed. It’s going to be just me for a while doing the writing, pictures and other things but I might invite some other guys with other interests down the line.
A short bio on me. My name is Joel. During the day I’m a dashing IT professional who works in education assisting all those in need with their computer and software needs. Yes I did say that with a straight face. Any other time, (nights, weekends, holidays, occasional “sick” days and sometimes during lunch) I’m an avid geek of many things, outdoorsman, movie buff, gamer, wannabe photographer and artist. I’m also a freelance graphic and web designer focusing mostly on small businesses and startups.
